the focus lies within fertility issues within society, breaking the taboo of open speech and the pressure that lies within the individual couple in social arenas, such as work.
the sculptures and garments build the framework of breaking the boundaries between art and design. its intention is to spark a conversation about boundaries, fertility issues, and the realm of what we consider art and what we consider fashion design.
the collection invites a merge between space and body, the individual and society.
each sculpture and thereby outfit represents a state, an emotion or area surrounding fertility issues, diving into the feelings that appear when faced with the potential idea of not being able to reproduce or dealing with loss.
